The nominations for the 2023 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album are out! Nominees this year include Into the Woods, A Strange Loop, SIX, and more. Check out who has been nominated this year.

An industry reading of a new American musical, TEN BRAVE SECONDS by Will Van Dyke and Jeff Talbott, will take place this week (Thursday, November 17) in New York City directed by Ellie Heyman, with musical direction by Patrick Sulken. 

D.W. Gregory's political thriller Memoirs of a Forgotten Man will receive an industry reading on Thursday, December 1 at 2:30 p.m. Directed by James Glossman, the reading takes place at the Mary Rodgers Room at the Dramatists Guild.

DreamWrights Center for Community Arts presents the thrilling and hysterical who-dun-it mystery comedy The 39 Steps. On stage for just one weekend, opening on October 28th through the 30th - this is one Halloween treat not to pass on.

The Public Theatre will open its 32nd season on September 16 with Morning After Grace. Morning After Grace is playing at The Public Theatre, Lewiston/Auburn’s Professional Theatre, Sept 16 - 25. Thurs-Sat at 7:30pm, Sun at 2pm with an added matinee on Sat, Sept 24th at 3pm.

After more than two years, NYC's favorite fill-in-the-blanks comedy is back! The star-studded shenanigans begin at 7pm, Monday, September 19, and the cast includes the always-hilarious Josh Lamon (The Prom, Groundhog Day), charmingly disarming Hunter Ryan Herdlicka (A Little Night Music, Once Upon a Mattress), and more.

To close out the 90th anniversary season, New London Barn Playhouse will present the romantic comedy Almost, Maine, running from August 26th through September 4th.

Portland Stage has announced the public phase of its Making An Entrance Capital Campaign to make substantial facility improvements and increase its education endowment. To date, Portland Stage has raised nearly $4.8M, more than 75% of its $6.4M campaign goal.
