The Weathervane Theatre, a professional, award-winning, equity theatre in Whitefield, NH, is thrilled to announce the 2019 54th Summer Season of alternating rep. Gallery Players presents Shakespeare's The Tempest, directed by James Dean Palmer in July. Palmer returns to Gallery following his critically acclaimed 2017 production of Julius Caesar. This classic tale kicks off with a shipwreck and tells a story of unlikely love and long-awaited forgiveness made possible only with a bit of magic. In this production, magic comes to life through a chorus of spirits, comprised of young performers from across the city.

New York galleries will host visiting galleries by either cocurating a collaborative exhibition or dividing their galleries into separate exhibition spaces. Shakespeare's Globe has announced the full cast for William Shakespeare's A Midsummer Night's Dream, directed by Sean Holmes. Sean joined the Globe as Associate Artistic Director after almost a decade as Artistic Director of the Lyric Hammersmith. A Midsummer Night's Dream, Shakespeare's evergreen comedy of chaos and order, opens on Friday 28 June in The Globe Theatre. Bottom will be played by Jocelyn Jee Esien, returning to the Globe following her titular role of Dr Faustus.

Turing up to throw a wrench in things is Albert's mother Mae, (recently retired professor of the theatre arts DIANA TROTTER), and a saucy new secretary named Gloria (played by recent UW alum JESSICA LORENZ).
