Concert and symphony performer Joan Ryan has arrived in New York City to sing for her supper and her sold-out evening at The Green Room 42 looks like she is on her way.

Joan Ryan, winner of BroadwayWorld's Top Artist Award and star of the hit cult musical RUTHLESS!, debuted a brand-new solo ONE NIGHT ONLY! on Saturday, March 7 at 9:30PM at The Green Room 42 (570 10th Avenue).

Popular actress Joan Ryan has a love of music and singing and it has informed a successful career on the concert stages. Her new show is all about life, laughter and her love of music.

Joan Ryan, winner of BroadwayWorld's Top Artist Award and star of the hit cult musical RUTHLESS!, will debut a brand-new solo ONE NIGHT ONLY! on Saturday, March 7 at 9:30PM at The Green Room 42 (570 10th Avenue). Her recent return to NYC has included appearances at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center followed by a sold-out concert in 2019 at Birdland.

Joan Ryan, winner of BroadwayWorld's Top Artist Award and star of the hit cult musical Ruthless!, will debut her brand new one-woman-show after performing last year in sold-out concerts at Carnegie Hall and Lincoln Center. The one-night-only event will take place on Saturday March 7 at 9:30PM at The Green Room 42.

It was a spectacular start to the four night 2019 Cabaret Convention at Jazz at Lincoln Center's Rose Theater Last night.

Just last night, Primary Stages held its 35th Anniversary Gala, honor ingPulitzer Prize nominee Theresa Rebeck (Downstairs, Bernhardt/Hamlet), and Tony Award-winning producers from the Primary Stages family Jamie deRoy (The Ferryman, Little Women), Dasha Epstein (Ain't Misbehavin', Exits and Entrances), Susan Rose (The Band's Visit, Sabina), and Cheryl Wiesenfeld (Ain't Too Proud, In the Continuum). 

No, it wasn't an accident the first time around in July. Just as Broadway (Chicago) has recognized her abilities and consistency of excellence so have Haley Swindal's audience's. The only difference in her performance last night was that that black is the new red and Feinstein's/54 Below had another Stephen (Sondheim) in the audience. Here's my review of Haley's July show which was corroborated last night.

Ronn Goswick Entertainent has announced Rockin' in Paradise, a concert to support the Anaheim Performing Arts Center Foundation, on Friday, November 8, and Saturday, November 9, at 8pm.  Under the direction of 3-D Theatricals Ovation Award-winner T.J. Dawson with musical direction by Ovation Award-winner Gerald Sternbach, the show will feature some of the best entertainers Broadway and Hollywood have to offer. Executive producers are Norman Hames, Dr. Daniel Kantarovich, Dr. Howard Knohl, and Robert Sciortino.

The Broadway at Birdland concert series was proud to present singer Natalie Douglas with another one of her “Tributes,” a monthly performance celebrating iconic singers.

Joanna Gleason gave a  memorable performance in her superbly crafted, written and directed show last night at Feinstein's54 Below. Jeffrey Klitz, her music director and pianist, created some of the most haunting and extraordinary arrangements for a group of musicians consisting of guitar, banjo, autoharp, cello, percussion and 3 back-up vocalists called the Moontones.

The glittering New York City skyline is the backdrop for an enchanted evening with Fran Drescher. If you were in The Cutting Room for the Stephen Schwartz Concert for the Benefit of the Orphaned Starfish Foundation it is a night you will probably cherish forever. The music of Stephen Schwartz performed by an incredible array of Broadway and stage talent was one of the most inspiring and remarkable events to be a part of.
