PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will embark on a new UK tour, opening at the New Wimbledon Theatre before visiting over 20 cities. The production features direction by Tony Award winner Jerry Mitchell and music by Bryan Adams.

There is something inherently comforting about a Movie-to-Musical adaptation that knows exactly what it is. PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, currently playing at Crown Theatre, doesn't attempt to reinvent the wheel or modernize the 1990 classic into something unrecognizable. Instead, it leans into the neon-drenched nostalgia of the era, delivering a production that is as slick, polished, and bright as a Hollywood storefront.

Stephen Casey, the director and choreographer of Arizona Broadway Theatre’s production of PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL, understands something essential about adapting a modern fairy tale, especially one rooted in a Rodeo Drive fantasy, for the stage: unless the performers anchor the story in authenticity, the flair of the music and dancing can vanish like a pumpkin carriage after midnight, leaving little substance beneath the sparkle.

PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL is now on stage at Beef & Boards Dinner Theatre, opening the venue’s 2026 season. Based on the popular film, the Broadway musical features national tour veterans in the leading roles and includes the story’s familiar moments and score. Check out photos of the show.
