Review: DRACULA: A COMEDY OF TERRORS at The Old Globe

Drac is back just in time for San Diego's spooky season at the Old Globe, in the fast-paced, campy, silly, and sexy spoof “Dracula: A Comedy of Terrors.”  Dare I say, it’s a fang-tastic time at the theatre. Read our critic's take.

Review: “AGATHA CHRISTIE'S MURDER ON THE ORIENT EXPRESS” at The Old Globe

The Old Globe doubles down on bringing famous literary detectives to the stage with a comic twist. They follow their recent Sherlock adaption with the famously fastidious Hercule Poirot in “Agatha Christie’s Murder on The Orient Express.” With a stunning set design and a spirited cast, this whodunit has been extended through October 20, 2024.

Review: MS. HOLMES & MS. WATSON - APT 2B at The Old Globe

Sherlock Holmes has had many pop culture reinventions over the years, from traditional to modern and edgy, and now in a fun and fast-paced gender-flipped pop culture-infused comedic parody that pays homage to Sherlock with lots of humor.  “Ms. Holmes & Ms. Watson - Apt 2B” plays at the Old Globe through September 1st.

Review: This is One 'RIDE' You Don't Want To Miss at The Old Globe

“Ride” at The Old Globe is an incredibly fun, clever, and wholly entertaining musical about a woman who chased the American Dream around the world from the back of a bicycle.  This musical is a delightful fun two-handed, one-act musical that may inspire you to go find adventure yourself.  “Ride” is now playing at The Old Globe through April 28th.

Review: THE AGE OF INNOCENCE at The Old Globe

THE AGE OF INNOCENCE is a gorgeously sumptuous and lush production full of beautiful people, costumes, and lighting, as it explores the true cost of keeping up appearances.  THE AGE OF INNOCENCE is playing at The Old Globe Theatre through March 10th.
