Producing innovative, provocative work is part of the Revolution Stage Company’s DNA, so it is not surprising they chose Witchland for their first new production of 2024.

The record will feature 12 new songs, highlighting Knopfler's warm Geordie vocals, his poetic storytelling and richly melodic guitar playing. The first single from the album, “Ahead Of The Game,” is out now, a wistful story about a singer/songwriter struggling to make it, set to a distinctively Knopfler riff.

Ten actors and nine puppets (created by Laura Stearns) took Palm Springs by storm last night when Revolution Stage Company opened Avenue Q. The buzz is strong with this one and it’s all true.

As promised in the opening of CABARET, now playing at The Old Globe through October 15th, “In here life is beautiful” and that is certainly true. This CABARET sparkles and shines with sequins and striking performances that bring a new interpretation to the classic musical.

CRIME AND PUNISHMENT, A COMEDY playing at the Old Globe through August 13th turns this Russian tragedy on its head and re-imagines it as a light-hearted, high-energy, and zany comedy.

TWELFTH NIGHT is one of Shakespeare’s classic comedies, and the current production at The Olde Globe playing through July 9th invites the audience to a music-centered and lighthearted version that is lively, lyrical, and full of laughter! 

The production that opened June 10 at the outdoor Lowell Davies Festival Theater was consistently enjoyable, but never enchanting. Set in the Regency area and using a mixture of music (here a court violin, there a ukelele) to foreground the play rather than drive it forward, Marshall’s production suffers from inconsistent casting. It also drags.
