A team of Dallas-based artists will present a free public workshop of the new musical The Penumbra on August 20 and 21, 2025 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bath House Cultural Center.

East Dallas Arts presents its sixth socially distanced, live stream production, the StarKid production Firebringer, a comedic musical about the prehistoric era when the invention of fire is discovered.

A new student production of Spring Awakening conceptualized with the guidance of medical officials will be live streamed and available on demand Sept 18 - 27. Produced by East Dallas Arts and directed by Jeremy Landon Hays, the project has been rehearsed via Zoom and will be performed behind plexiglass. The production has taken extensive measures to keep cast and crew separate and safe during development and performances. 

OCUNYC, Oklahoma City University's NYC Alumni Chapter, is aligning their OCU Stars in support of Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS' efforts to help those in our communities who are suffering due to the COVID-19 crisis.

Performances of Unmasked: The Music of Andrew Lloyd Webber began last night, Thursday, January 30 at Paper Mill Playhouse.

The cast just met the press and they're giving us a sneak peek of songs like 'Superstar', 'Buenos Aires,' 'All I Ask of You,' and 'As If We Never Said Goodbye' plus giving us some insight as to what to expect from the new show!

A private, invitation only industry reading of the new musical Mandela will be held on Thursday, March 14 and Friday, March 15, 2019. Mandela has music and lyrics by two South African composer/lyricists signed to Sony/ATV Music Publishing, Greg Dean Borowsky and Shaun Borowsky, with a book by Laiona Michelle (Little Girl Blue: The Nina Simone Musical). This reading is directed by Schele Williams (Rent, Motown: The Musical), with music direction by Alvin Hough, Jr. (Once On This Island). Fifth Estate Entertainment (Nathan Gehan/Jamison Scott) serves as general manager for the reading. The reading will be attended by Nandi Mandela, Nelson Mandela's granddaughter, on behalf of the Mandela family who have officially partnered with the show.

An industry reading of the new play Paulette will take place April 17, 2017 in midtown Manhattan.
