New York Theatre Workshop announced today that the NYTW 2020 Gala will honor NYTW Usual Suspect & Tony Award-winning director Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown, Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, Three Pianos at NYTW) and Tony Award-winning producer Jordan Roth (Hadestown). The Gala will be held on Monday, February 3 at Capitale (130 Bowery, New York, NY 10013).

The TEAM the award-winning Brooklyn theatre ensemble, announced today that its 15th Anniversary Gala will take place on Monday, November 4, 2019 at 6:30pm at The Green Building (452 Union Street, Brooklyn). The TEAM's 15th Anniversary Gala will include drinks, dinner, auctions and performances rooted in previous and upcoming TEAM works.

The Off Broadway Alliance, an organization of Off Broadway producers, theaters, general managers, press agents, and marketing professionals announced the winners of the 9th Annual Off Broadway Alliance Awards, honoring commercial and not-for-profit productions that opened Off Broadway during the 2018-2019 season.

The Drama League (Gabriel Stelian-Shanks, Executive Artistic Director) today announced the 2019 Drama League Awards Nominees for Outstanding Production of a Play, Outstanding Revival of a Play, Outstanding Production of a Musical, Outstanding Revival of a Musical, and the much-coveted Distinguished Performance Award. New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) presents 17 Border Crossings, created and performed by NYTW Usual Suspect Thaddeus Phillips (A Billion Nights on Earth), and directed by Tatiana Mallarino (Red Eye to Havre de Grace). This marks Thaddeus Phillips's third collaboration with NYTW, following ¡El Conquistador! in 2006 and Red Eye to Havre de Grace in 2014.

It was the 2018 Lucille Lortel & Drama League Nominee for Outstanding Musical.

Written and performed by two-time Obie Award winner Heidi Schreck(Grand Concourse, 'I Love Dick') and directed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (The Amateurs, The Light Years), What the Constitution Means to Me opened last night, March 31, 2019, at the Helen Hayes Theater (240 W 44th Street, New York, NY).

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) and WP Theater (Producing Artistic Director Lisa McNulty and Managing Director Michael Sag) just celebrated opening night of Hurricane Diane, by Pulitzer Prize finalist Madeleine George (The (curious case of the) Watson Intelligence). Directed by Tony Award nominee, two-time Obie Award winner and NYTW Usual Suspect Leigh Silverman (Violet), Hurricane Diane will play for a limited run through Sunday, March 10, 2019.

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) announced today that due to high demand, the world premiere of Slave Play by Jeremy O. Harris (Daddy, Zola), directed by two-time Obie Award winner Robert O'Hara (Bootycandy), will run for an additional two weeks. Originally scheduled to play its final performance on December 30, 2018, Slave Play will now play additional performances through Sunday January 13, 2019. Slave Play began previews on Monday, November 19, 2018 and will open Sunday, December 9 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street New York, NY 10003).

Performed by two-time Obie Award winner Schreck (Grand Concourse, "I Love Dick") and directed by Obie Award winner Oliver Butler (The Amateurs, The Light Years), What the Constitution Means to Me began previews on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, and opened Sunday, September 30 at New York Theatre Workshop (79 E. 4th Street).
