Firehouse Theatre has announced the cast, creative team, and performance schedule for its world premiere production of K. Jenkins' new play A SINGLE PRAYER.

Today PEN America announced the major career achievement honors to be presented at the 2020 PEN America Literary Awards.

Today, Grammy-winning producer and songwriter André Allen Anjos, known as RAC, has released a cover of Third Eye Blind's “Never Let You Go,” featuring singer Hilary Duff and her husband Matthew Koma. Released on Counter Records just in time for Valentine's Day, “Never Let You Go” is Hilary Duff's first track to be released since 2016, and RAC's follow up release to his 2019 EP, Closer.

Sundance Institute, a nonprofit organization that provides and preserves the space for independent artists in film, theatre, and media to create and thrive, and Ucross, a prestigious artist residency program and creative laboratory for the arts, and have announced seven fellows participating in the 21st annual Sundance Institute Artist Residency at Ucross in Wyoming, currently taking place February 3-21, 2020. This year, the retreat was renamed (formerly the Sundance Institute Playwrights & Composers Retreat) to reflect its cross-disciplinary structure.

The Country Music Association's popular international artist-focused touring series, Introducing Nashville, will bring dynamic Nashville artists Abby Anderson, Niko Moon, Cassadee Pope and Mitchell Tenpenny to the Pacific Rim in March. Theatre for a New Audience (TFANA; Jeffrey Horowitz, Founding Artistic Director) will present the New York premiere of celebrated American playwright Will Eno's Gnit, inspired by Henrik Ibsen's Peer Gynt (originally published in 1867). Directed by Eno's frequent collaborator, the Obie and Lortel Award-Winner Oliver Butler (Eno's 2014 The Open House and the 2018 revival of Thom Paine (based on nothing), starring Michael C. The Echo Theater Company presents the world premiere of Poor Clare, a play by Chiara Atik about what happens when your eyes are opened to the injustice of the world around you - and you can't look away. Alana Dietze (Dry Land, The Wolves) directs for a March 14 opening, with performances continuing through April 20 at Atwater Village Theatre. Three 'pay what you want' previews take place on March 11, March 12 and March 13.
