Jordan Davis Earns 7th Career No. 1 with 'Tucson Too Late'

Four-time 2024 ACM Awards nominee Jordan Davis tops the Country radio airplay charts (Country Aircheck/MediaBase and Billboard Country) with his co-penned single, “Tucson Too Late.” The song marks the singer/songwriter’s seventh career No. 1 at Country radio to date and reunites the award-winning songwriting team of Davis, Jacob Davis, Matt Jenkins, and Josh Jenkins – who also penned Davis’ award-winning hit, “Buy Dirt.”

According to Deadline, Harry Lawtey, an actor who will next appear in Joker: Folie A Deux, has been cast as Tony-Award-winning actor Richard Burton in an upcoming film that will center on the actor as a young man. Lawtey will appear alongside Toby Jones and Lesley Manville in the film.

By popular demand, Trap Door Theatre will extend its hit production of Nana. Adapted for the stage from Emile Zola's scandalous novel by Olwen Wymark, Nana was directed by Resident Choreographer Miguel Long, and Managing Director Nicole Wiesner, who originated the role of Nana in 2002.

Choosing to perform a Tennessee (Thomas Lanier) Williams (1911-1983) play means genuinely committing to some of theater’s most salient aspects: in this case, a plot that must capture and then hold the audience in unfolding layers of tragedy, characters that are complex and often display less-than-desirable human characteristics, believable delivery of modified language to portray a specific region or temperament, performance of disconcerting and sometimes virulent spectacle on a human scale, and production design that rises to the needs of the story.
