Georgia Stitt, the award-winning composer/lyricist and music director, has released a new album of original music, 'A Quiet Revolution,' on Craft Recordings/Concord Theatricals, available digitally today (April 10, 2020) ahead of a May 1, 2020 physical release. The album is now available wherever music is sold.

In honor of Stephen Sondheim's birthday today, Jason Robert Brown released a video of his SubCulture concert, which featured Sondheim, from June 2019.

The popular 'Cabaret On Sundays' Series presented by Les Michaels of Life Is A Cabaret will begin the 11th season on June 2, 2019 with a total of 18 shows in the Summer Season that runs through September 29, 2019.  The cabaret shows are presented in concert format at the Arthur Newman Theatre located in the Joslyn Center in Palm Desert at 73750 Catalina Way.  All shows are Sundays at 2 pm and tickets are all $15 cash only and doors open at 1 pm.

OLD JEWS TELLING JOKES has garnered rave reviews across the country, and I can certainly understand why it's kosher for a Jew to be a ham after watching these five talented and energetic actor/comedians take over the stage. Sets of jokes are broken into categories, with the titles displayed on a large screen at the back of the stage, upon which we also see various settings where jokes are set. Starting with Birth and Childhood, they move through Dating and Courtship, Business and Money, Marriage, Religion, Assimilation, School., Doctors and Retirement, making fun of everyone while the audience roared with laughter.

The visiting production at the Colony is set to open on Thursday, April 25, at 8pm, and the engagement will continue through Sunday, June 16.

Jason Robert Brown's landmark musical Songs for a New World (New York City Center 2018 Encores! Off-Center Cast Recording) is released today, Friday, January 25, in streaming and digital formats, in addition to a two-CD set. This is the show's first recording since the world premiere album over 20 years ago. How We React and How We Recover, the new album from three-time Tony Award winner Jason Robert Brown, will be released by Ghostlight Records this month. His first solo recording in over a decade is a politically-charged, far-reaching rumination on love, family and music. The album will be available in digital and streaming formats on Friday, June 29, with a physical CD planned for later this year. The release will coincide with New York City Center's Encores! Off-Center production of Brown's landmark New York debut show Songs for a New World, which runs from June 27-30.
