59E59 Theaters will host the US premiere of TERMS OF ENDEARMENT, written by Dan Gordon, based on the book by Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Larry McMurtry and the Oscar-winning screenplay by James L. Brooks, and directed by Michael Parva.

Riverside Theatre, led by Producing Artistic Director/CEO Allen D. Cornell and Managing Director/COO Jon R. Moses, starts its 43rd season with the celebrated musical featuring the music of American Icon, Johnny Cash, in Ring Of Fire. Sponsored by John & Marilyn McConnell and Riverside Theatre's Patron Producers' Group, Ring Of Fire plays the Stark Stage from October 25 through November 13, 2016.

After an 18-month run on Broadway, Tony Award winner Jessie Mueller will say goodbye to the biomusical BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING STORY tonight.

As BroadwayWorld previously reported, Award-winning Canadian actress Chilina Kennedy, who made her Broadway debut as 'Mary Magdalene' in Jesus Christ Superstar, has nabbed the title role in Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, the smash hit musical about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter. Kennedy begins performances on March 7, 2015, succeeding Tony Award-winner Jessie Mueller, who will play her final performance in Beautiful later this week on March 6 at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street). BEAUTIFUL: THE CAROLE KING MUSICAL has won the 2015 Grammy Award for Best Musical Theatre Album!

On Thursday, November 6th it was announced that Cafe Edison in Times Square is being denied a new lease by The Hotel Edison management. The diner -- which has served as a hub for the Broadway community for more than 30 years -- is expected to close at the end of the year. The story has sparked an outpouring of support from the Broadway community and New Yorkers at large, as well as produced a widely circulated online petition. Among the signees -- numbered at 6,357 supporters (as of 6:30 p.m. on Nov 11) -- are stars Glenn Close, Martha Plimpton, Christine Pedi, Karen Mason, Mary Testa, Joey Parnes, Rob McClure, Teal Wicks, Mamie Parris, Michael Cerveris, Sean Connery, Marc Shaiman, and more. Ghostlight Records has announced the launch of the new series 'Ghostlight Shines On...' presenting exclusive audio commentary on some of its major recordings from Broadway and beyond. The series currently features commentary for two hit albums the label released in 2014: the Broadway smash Beautiful - The Carole King Musical and the beloved score for The Bridges of Madison County, which won 2014 Tony Awards for Best Score and Best Orchestrations.

Producers Paul Blake and Sony/ATV Music Publishing have announced that the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful-The Carole King Musical, about the early life and career of the legendary and groundbreaking singer/songwriter, has recouped its production costs in less than ten months on Broadway. Capitalized at $13 million, Beautiful has been breaking box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre (124 West 43rd Street) since it opened in January and now becomes the first new musical of the 2013-2014 Season to recoup.
