Susie Clausen brings the newest version of 'Saxy Susie' to the stage at Don't Tell Mama. Ms. Clausen takes her passion for the saxophone and singing and updated a charming and ebullient act with some clever new tunes. Directed, written, & arranged by Marilyn Maye. Rainshine Entertainment and Malaysia-based Animasia Studio have teamed up to co-produce a trilogy of animated feature films based on the 'Young Captain Nemo' books, a chart-topping fiction trilogy.

Kinsane Entertainment Inc, a global kids and family entertainment company owned by Rainshine Entertainment, announces the acquisition of the book adaptation rights for best-selling author Jason Henderson's YOUNG CAPTAIN NEMO, an Amazon.com chart-topping middle-grade fiction trilogy. Kinsane will develop the literary franchise as an animated series, as mobile games, consumer products, and more for worldwide release.

Acclaimed singer/pianist Billy Stritch returned to the Birdland Theater stage on Wednesday, October 17, with two shows. The Grammy-nominated performer entertained with a selection of jazz, popular standards and bossa nova by a range of songwriters including Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen, Michel Legrand and the Bergmans, and Brazilian composers Antonio Carlos Jobim and Ivan Lins. 

On Monday, May 21, Birdland was once again proud to host Justin "Squigs" Robertson as special guest artist-in-residence at Jim Caruso's Cast Party.

Over the past few weeks, Jim Caruso's Cast Party at Birdland has been the place for an enormous variety of musical talent, with Caruso hosting, Billy Stritch accompanying on the eighty-eights, and the Cast Party Symphony Orchestra (Steve Doyle on bass and Daniel Glass on drums).

Provincetown CabaretFest 2018 (May 31 to June 3) will feature over thirty vocalists, musicians and comedians, appearing in the Paramount Room of The Crown and Anchor, during its Friday night show 'Music, Music, Music'. The Friday evening show is the largest variety show every produced in the festival's eighteen-year history. The entertainers hail from all over the U.S. and will perform in a variety of shows, in one of the most extensive cabaret festivals in Massachusetts. All festival events share theme of sophisticated and soulful 1950s music and will showcase the unique art form of live cabaret.
