BroadwayWorld has learned that Funny Girl will be launching a national tour, with dates already confirmed for 2024 as part of Atlanta's 2023/2024 Broadway touring season, which also features the pre-Broadway national tour of The Wiz.

The gala honored musical theater legend Leslie Uggams  with the 2022 Oscar Hammerstein Award for Outstanding Achievement in Musical Theater, which will be presented by Dionne Warwick. Ted Chapin was also honored with The York Theatre Company Founders' Award, presented by his daughters Anika and Zoë Chapin. Lea Michele announced tonight on Instagram Live during the curtain call for Funny Girl that the production will release a Broadway Revival Cast Recording, with more information to be revealed on the Today Show tomorrow.
