A new documentary about a workshop of Jeremy O. Harris' provocative play will be premiering this summer at the Tribeca Festival in New York. The film, titled Slave Play. Not A Movie. A Play, is described as a playful and illuminating self-portrait of writer Jeremy O. Harris as he workshops and mines Slave Play, the provocative play that thrust him into the spotlight, with a new cast of young actors from New York’s William Esper Studio.

The 2024 Tribeca Festival has unveiled its features lineup, offering a diverse array of narrative, documentary, and animated films, including several from Broadway favorites. The festival will see the world premiere of LIZA: A Truly Terrific Absolutely True Story about Broadway icon Liza Minnelli. Documentaries include the world premiere of Satisfied, an intimate look at the actress Renée Elise Goldsberry.

Postcard from Earth – a first-of-its-kind immersive film by Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky, is a portrait of our planet, re-imagined as a sci-fi experience. The Tribeca Festival announced that the 23rd edition of the festival. For more than two decades the Festival has been a destination for new, groundbreaking storytelling from established and emerging artists. Next June, Tribeca will continue to explore creative innovation across film, TV, immersive, games, audio storytelling, talks, and more. 

Tribeca has announced the release of A Bronx Tale (30th Anniversary Edition), which will be available on 4K UHD Blu-Ray and Video on Demand (VOD) platforms September 12, 2023. For the first time, the film will be released in newly restored Ultra High-Definition Dolby Vision and Dolby TrueHD 5.1 Surround sound.

The 2023 Tribeca Festival, presented by OKX, has announced its audio storytelling lineup, including 18 world premieres from independent and established narrative audio creators and 11 “Live-from-Tribeca” events. This year’s Festival, which takes place June 7-18, will highlight its audio storytelling selection.

Robert De Niro stars and executive produces in his first TV series, Zero Day, a conspiracy thriller from Creator / Executive Producer Eric Newman under his Grand Electric Productions deal with Netflix, and Creator / Executive Producer Noah Oppenheim.

AT&T and Tribeca have announced SMOKING TIGERS as the winner of the AT&T Presents: Untold Stories. SMOKING TIGERS filmmakers So Young Shelly Yo (Writer/Director) and Guo Guo (Producer) will receive $1 million to produce their feature length film, which will premiere exclusively at the 2023 Tribeca Festival.

The 2022 Tribeca Festival today announced its first-ever music lounge featuring four days and nights of exclusive performances, special guest appearances, insider talks, and more.
