Musicians On Call (MOC), a nonprofit organization that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities, is excited to announce a special live performance by the legendary rock band Chicago at B.B. King Blues Club & Grill on November 19, 2012. When Chicago played the MOC Benefit Concert last year the response was so great that the band volunteered to do it again this year.

59E59 Theaters has announced the Prospect Theater Company production of WORKING, from the book by Studs Terkel, adapted by Stephen Schwartz and Nina Faso, with additional contributions by Gordon Greenberg. Songs are by Craig Carnelia, Micki Grant, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Mary Rodgers & Susan Birkenhead, Stephen Schwartz, and James Taylor. Directed by Gordon Greenberg, WORKING begins performances on Saturday, December 1 for a limited engagement through Sunday, December 30.

King Blues Club & Grill on November 19, 2012. When Chicago played the MOC Benefit Concert last year the response was so great that the band volunteered to do it again this year. The event, which will benefit MOC, includes hors d'oeuvres, open bar, and exclusive meet-and-greets for top sponsors.

The third season of Lincoln Center's White Light Festival continues in November with "The Spirit of the Body," a work by dancer/choreographer Malavika Sarukkai showcasing her exquisite interpretations of South India's classical dance, Bharatanatyam. Accompanied by four musicians from Madras, India, the performances are presented in the intimate setting of the Baryshnikov Arts Center.

The breathtaking talent of some of Southern California's most proficient young musicians lures audiences with two concerts of classical favorites to kick off Pacific Symphony Youth Ensembles' (PSYE) 2012-13 concert series this November. Led by Music Director Maxim Eshkenazy, Pacific Symphony Youth Orchestra (PSYO), named Classics Alive Youth Orchestra of the Year in 2012, captivates listeners with rich European harmonic history, including the Spanish dances of Rimsky-Korsakov's "Capriccio Espagnol," the medieval beauty of Wagner's "Elsa's Procession to the Cathedral" and the Norwegian folk tunes of Grieg's "Peer Gynt," as well as an original composition by the Symphony's French horn player, James Taylor. "PSYO Fall Concert" takes place Sunday, Nov. 18, at 4 p.m., at Meng Hall at California State University, Fullerton.

Durham, NC based Delta Rae opened for First Lady Michelle Obama earlier this week at Carmichael Arena at UNC Chapel Hill. The band's performance preceded The First Lady taking the podium to encourage college students and other supporters to vote, as early voting began in North Carolina yesterday. 'There are currently so many issues being discussed and decisions being made in Washington that are going to drastically affect our generation' says Eric Hölljes of Delta Rae. 'I truly hope, as young people, we stand up in this election and let our collective voice be heard.'

Grammy winner Jennifer Warnes, a singer-songwriter best known for introducing two Academy Award-winning best songs-"I've Had The Time of My Life," a duet with Bill Medley from Dirty Dancing and "Up Where We Belong," a duet with Joe Cocker from An Officer and a Gentleman, as well as for her top ten hit 'Right Time of the Night,' will perform at the Madison Theatre at Molloy College on Wednesday, October 31, at 8:00 p.m. Co-presented by Long Island Woman magazine, this will be her only New York appearance.

You know that saying that 'two is better than one?' Well it couldn't have been a more enjoyably appropriate description than the swingin'-est concert to hit Costa Mesa's Segerstrom Center for the Arts in some time: the double-bill of jazz powerhouses Jane Monheit and John Pizzarelli. The two talented stars--each accompanied by their own incredible traveling bands--played to an almost-packed house this past Friday, October 5 as the rousing season opener for the 2012-2013 Cabaret Series at the Center.

Tonight in New York, British music entrepreneur Simon Fuller was honoured in front of an audience of 5,000 music fans at the historic Radio City Music Hall at a star-studded benefit concert to mark the 25th year of the Children's Health Fund. At the concert, Simon Fuller, the CEO of XIX Entertainment and creator of 'American Idol', received the Founders' Award to acknowledge his role as Creator and Executive Producer of 'Idol Gives Back', a record-breaking TV telethon that has raised $185 million for good causes since 2007.
