Since April, East Lynne Theater Company has been presenting 'Tales at Home,' virtually, and 'Tales in the Backyard,' live, and for the holidays, its 'Yuletide Tales.'

On this day in 2017, the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, The Band's Visit, opened on Broadway!

The award-winning Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company presents one of its most popular events, 'Poe by Candlelight,' outside, just in time for Halloween. The date is the same as previously scheduled, Saturday, October 24, but the time is now 5:30PM, and the location is West Cape May's Back Yard, 732 Broadway, behind the Fire Hall.

 'Humor is tolerant, tender; its ridicule caresses. Wit stabs, begs pardon a?" and turns the weapon in the wound. Humor is a sweet wine; wit a dry; and we know which is preferred by the connoisseur.  Of course, if you fire live rounds, be prepared for return fire.'

East Lynne Theater Company has been granted permission from Equity to to rehearse and film Nothing Matters.

On August 6, Suzanne Dawson will read two monologues by the famous writer and actor Ruth Draper (1884-1956).

It's the 31st season of East Lynne Theater Company's 'Tales of the Victorians.' Stories are read every Thursday at 4:00 PM, but not on the porches of B&B and at private homes like usual.

Red Bull Theater today announced the next event of its special FREE programming to provide an opportunity for its community of artists and theater lovers to gather in the virtual space during this unprecedented time of COVID-19: Jeffrey Hatcher's The Government Inspector.

The Equity professional East Lynne Theater Company is offering 'Tales of the Victorians,' live storytelling performances in front of petite audiences in the backyard of a home in Cape May, every Thursday from 4:00 PM - 4:45 PM from June 18 - August 13.

Although ELTC can't present its usual large summer productions, it will be producing live, for very select audiences.

Since the players of East Lynne Theatre Company in Cape May, NJ cannot perform in front of a live audience at the moment due to a pandemic, they are finding ways to perform on YouTube.

Performed without an intermission, it features Arabian-flavored musical numbers and a mostly upbeat plot. It premiered on Broadway in 2017 and is one of only four musicals to win the 'Big Six' Tony Awards, which include Best Musical, Best Book, Best Score, Best Actor in a Musical, Best Actress in a Musical, and Best Direction of a Musical.

The Actors Shakespeare Company invites you to join them for a Halloween celebration, with an evening of scenes, poems, music, and stories of the macabre on Friday October 25th at 7:30 p.m. at the Episcopal Actors Guild.
