Multi-award-winning theatrical event Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will resume performances in Melbourne on February 25, after a hiatus of 49 weeks. The landmark production suspended a record-breaking run at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre after public health measures were imposed by the government due to COVID 19.  

Christmas is often about tradition and Jack Thorne’s beautiful version of A Christmas Carol at London’s Old Vic has quickly established itself as a must-see theatrical tradition after only a few years. As part of the Old Vic’s In Camera series, established to bring socially distanced theatre to people despite the pandemic, the production is being screened live from the theatre to bring some much-needed festive cheer to the world.

The Royal Society of Literature (RSL), the charity that represents the voice of literature in the UK, has today in celebration of its 200th birthday announced RSL 200, a five-year festival launched with a series of major new initiatives and 60 new appointments championing the great diversity of writing and writers in the UK.

The Crown has held as one of Netflix's top series since the release of Season 4 on November 15 perhaps partly due to the stellar performances from its cast. Did you know that many of the company members have extensive background onstage in London and around the world.

Artistic Director Michael Ritchie announced Center Theatre Group’s 54th season at the Ahmanson Theatre will begin in August 24, 2021, four months later than it was formerly scheduled. The season features the previously announced “The Lehman Trilogy,” “The Prom,” “Hadestown” and “Dear Evan Hansen” plus “1776” which was previously announced for the 2019 – 2020 season.

The Old Vic in London, England announced that Andrew Lincoln (AMC's The Walking Dead) will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in this year's OLD VIC: IN CAMERA version of Jack Thorne's A Christmas Carol. Directed by Matthew Warchus, the festive favorite returns for its fourth year and this time will be streamed live from The Old Vic stage.

Today, The Old Vic in London, England announced that Andrew Lincoln (AMC's The Walking Dead) will star as Ebenezer Scrooge in this year's OLD VIC: IN CAMERA version of Jack Thorne's A Christmas Carol.

Season two of the HBO drama series His Dark Materials, starring Lin-Manuel Miranda, debuts Monday, November 16 (9:00-10:00 p.m. ET/PT). The series will air on HBO and be available to stream on HBO Max.
