A definite sign that London may be heading back to some sort of normality is the live return of The Old Vic’s award-winning adaptation of A Christmas Carol. After streaming a version last year, the theatre is now back to hosting one of the highlights of the festive season, complete with Victorian bell-ringing, mince pies and one of literature’s most heart-warming stories of love and redemption

Center Theatre Group has released a first look trailer for A Christmas Carol, coming to the Ahmanson next week.

The internationally award-winning London production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will celebrate the Hogwarts houses early next year with four special performances dedicated to each house. Gryffindor, Slytherin, Hufflepuff and Ravenclaw houses are the four living and learning communities for Hogwarts students, named after the wizarding school's four founders.

Tonight's performance of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child has been canceled. The production announced the cancellation less than one hour before the performance was set to begin. 

Production photos are now available for the First National Tour of A Christmas Carol led by three-time Emmy Award winner Bradley Whitford (Ebenezer Scrooge), Tony and Emmy Award nominee Kate Burton (Ghost of Christmas Past), and Grammy and SAG Award nominee Alex Newell (Ghost of Christmas Present/Mrs. Fezziwig).

Production images are now available from Matthew Warchus’ big-hearted, smash hit Old Vic production of Charles Dickens’ immortal classic A Christmas Carol, joyously adapted for the stage by Jack Thorne (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child) and starring Stephen Mangan (The Split, Green Wing, Episodes). 

Olivier Award-winner John Dagleish stars as Bob Cratchit in an astute rewriting of Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol, having previously played the character in Jack Thorne's adaption of the show at the Old Vic in 2017. Alexander Knott's Cratchit reimagines the well-loved tale of Ebenezer Scrooge from the perspective of Bob Cratchit.

Today Producers confirmed that Broadway’s new reimagined production of Harry Potter and the Cursed Child will make its Australian premiere in May 2022 at Melbourne’s Princess Theatre.
