Unlock The Classics With Irvington Shakespeare Company This March

After a smash, sold-out run of Twelfth Night last summer, Irvington Theater has once again teamed up with Arts Partner Irvington Shakespeare Company for an in-person production of Ian McKellen's Acting Shakespeare at Mercy College this March 24-27. 

Pantochino Opens Season with THE ROCKY HORROR SHOW

Award-winning Pantochino Productions, a professional not-for-profit theatre company in Milford will open its eleventh season with the Richard O’Brien musical The Rocky Horror Show. The limited engagement begins October 22 at the MAC, Milford Arts Council on Railroad Avenue in Downtown Milford.

Irondale Presents Four Plays For FRINGEBYOV This October

Irondale, a home for cutting edge, artist-driven theater and the home of the Irondale Ensemble, will host four plays during the October month-long FringeBYOV Festival. The only Brooklyn based venue to welcome audiences to the Festival, Irondale is an official host of the FringeBYOV segment of The NEW York International Fringe Festival and will co-present nearly 15 performances: Wolfpack, October 16-18, The Four of Us, October 17-19, Savana Glacial, October 23-24, 30, and Update, October 25-26.

Dirty Minds Theatre Company Presents HEAD OVER HEELS

BWW Interview: The King Of The Forest! Nick Pearson Opens Up About Playing The Cowardly Lion In THE WIZARD OF OZ At The McCallum

The greatest family musical of all time, The Wizard of Oz, travels over the rainbow to Palm Desert for five performances at the McCallum Theatre. Performances are Friday, January 25, at 8:00pm; Saturday, January 26, at 2:00pm and 8:00pm, and Sunday, January 27, at 2:00pm and 7:30pm. This magical production is a celebration of the 1939 MGM movie, and will be presented with breathtaking special effects that will sweep audiences away, from the moment the tornado twists its way into Kansas. Nick Pearson plays the Cowardly Lion in this iteration. I had the chance to chat with Nick about all things 'Oz' and his personal trajectory that led him over the rainbow.
