Tony Goldwyn joins the company of Matthew Lopez' The Inheritance beginning tonight, January 5, for a four month limited engagement!

Producers Scott Rudin / Barry Diller / David Geffen announced today that the Broadway return of the Jerome Robbins / Arthur Laurents / Leonard Bernstein / Stephen Sondheim musical, West Side Story, has once again broken the all-time Broadway Theatre house record for a single week, with a gross of $1,807,025.94. In 7 performances the previous week, West Side Story broke the record (with a gross of $1,497,319) held by Rodgers and Hammerstein's Cinderella ($1,479,889.97, established on 12/29/13, for an 8-performance week).

2019 has come and gone, which means it's time to get excited for the new shows coming in 2020! This year will bring anticipated revivals of Company, West Side Story, and The Music Man, fan favorite Six, brand new musicals Diana, Mrs. Doubtfire, and MJ, and many more.

BroadwayWorld has learned that the highly anticipated Broadway revival of WEST SIDE STORY will be pushing back its opening night from the previously announced Feb. 6, 2020 until two weeks later on Feb. 20.

Works & Process, the performing arts series at the Guggenheim, presents West Side Story: Ivo van Hove and Anne Teresa De Keersmaeker on Monday, January 27, 2020 at 7:30pm.

British director and writer Robert Icke has committed himself to Internationaal Theater Amsterdam, as Ibsen Artist in Residence. This new way of supporting talent is established by the Philip Loubser Foundation.

Something great is coming! With the Broadway revival of West Side Story currently in previews, the show's very own Tony, Isaac Powell, took to the stage at Live from Here with Chris Thile to perform the show's iconic song 'Something's Coming.' Check out the full performance with this video!

New York Theatre Workshop (NYTW) (Artistic Director James C. Nicola and Managing Director Jeremy Blocker) announced today performers, presenters and the host for the NYTW 2020 Gala, honoring NYTW Usual Suspect & Tony Award-winning director Rachel Chavkin (Hadestown, Light Shining in Buckinghamshire, Three Pianos at NYTW) and Tony Award-winning producer Jordan Roth (Producer of Hadestown; President of Jujamcyn Theaters). The Gala will be held on Monday, February 3 at Capitale (130 Bowery, New York, NY 10013).

Broadway vets, Danette Holden, who was last seen in Sacramento as Kitty in The Drowsy Chaperone and in New York City in the acclaimed Off-Broadway production of Cagney, the Musical and Kevin Csolak, currently in Ivo Van Hove's new West Side Story as Arab hitting the Broadway stage December 10th in previews and who just completed shooting Steven Spielberg's reboot of West Side Story as Diesel hosted the 2019 Stangl Stage Cabaret, Hunterdon's Brightest, Home for the Holidays charity event this past Saturday, November 30th at the historic Stangl Stage.

De Graaf & Cornelissen Entertainment is verheugd te melden dat Esmee Dekker naast Sven Ratzke in Rocky Horror Show te zien zal zijn. Dekker speelde al eerder in voorstellingen van De Graaf & Cornelissen en ontving lovende kritieken en een nominatie voor haar hoofdrol in My Fair Lady. Esmee zal in de voorstelling de rol van Janet vertolken. Rocky Horror Show gaat op 28 september 2020 in het DeLaMar Theater in première en reist daarna verder het land door.
