Tony nominee Geneva Carr and Tony winner Michael Cerveris will lead the first NYC industry reading of 45 Bennington, a new play by Ryan McCurdy. Imani Jade Powers (Harry Potter and the Cursed Child), Becton, and Priyanka Krishnan will round out the ensemble of this comedy about real estate, religion, and other illusions.

Rebel Playhouse is thrilled to present the world premiere of THE STRAY, written and composed by Arif Silverman, directed by Emma Hasselbach, and co-presented by The Theater at the 14th Street Y. The musical teaches audiences about the power of understanding with a cast of animal characters. The show runs for a limited engagement September 28 - October 6, Saturdays at 11am and 1pm and Sundays at 1pm, at The Theater at the 14th Street Y (344 E. 14th St). In New York City, summer and Shakespeare go hand in hand. For their 2014 Season the dell'Arte Opera Ensemble is producing 'A Summer of Shakespeare,' and they kicked off this season with a fully staged production of Henry Purcell's THE FAIRY QUEEN. While giving the show a modern twist, dell'Arte Opera Ensemble followed traditional convention and has set the piece into an abridged version of A MIDSUMMER NIGHT'S DREAM. The end product is a light-hearted yet ambitious production that enchants.
