Long Wharf Theatre (Jacob G. Padrón, Artistic Director; Kit Ingui, Managing Director) has announced dates and complete casting for I Am My Own Wife, written by Doug Wright and directed by Rebecca Martínez.

The Fire This Time Festival, the destination for early career and emerging playwrights from the African diaspora, announces its 2020 dates. The 14-day festival, presented in collaboration with FRIGID New York, which annually honors Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. will take place from January 20 to February 2, 2020. This year, seven commissioned dramatists will be presented in repertoire as part of the annual celebration held at the Kraine Theater in the East Village.

Additional performances will be on Thursday, October 24 at 8pm, Friday, October 25 at 8pm, and Saturday, October 26 at 8pm. Previously announced performances will be on Thursday, October 17 at 8pm, Friday, October 18 at 8pm, Saturday, October 19 at 8pm, and Sunday, October 20 at 3pm. Moxie Arts will open its third season with the world premiere of God's Necklace by Morgan Kinnally. The production will run from October 24-November 3rd as part of the Theater Artist Residency Program at The Center at West Park Sanctuary Space.

To celebrate the work of MTF's People of Color Roundtable on Monday May 20th, Musical Theatre Factory will present a one night only evening of new musical theatre works by and for people of color. These electrifying, witty, powerful, complex and poignant songs explore a range of stories told by the ones who are meant to tell it- songs about matters pertaining to race and just plain ol' humanity! Curated by Natasha Sinha and Ianne Fields Stewart. Reclaiming Our Time will take place at Joe's Pub (425 Lafayette St) on Monday, May 20 at 7pm. Tickets are $25 and are available at mtf.nyc/events.
