A powerful new docuseries, “Addiction Unplugged,” will premiere on A&E August 17 at 1PM ET, it was announced today. Created by Stuart Goffman, produced by Addiction Buzz with Subculture Films, and executive produced by Stuart Goffman, Allen J West, and Brandon Dumlao the ten-episode docuseries will focus on a wide array of different addiction and recovery scenarios. Each episode will additionally air on A&E sister network, FYI.

Colin Salmon, star of the James Bond film series, Netflix's Master of None and Syfy's Krypton, has been confirmed to join the cast of the Howard Zinn biopic, The Time Of Our Lies. Guest starring for one night on 2 August, Colin will play the lead role as the American historian, author and social activist, Howard Zinn. Daniel Benzali will star as Howard Zinn for the remainder of the run. With Trang Le and Jessye Romeo also joining the ensemble, The Time Of Our Lies is written by Bianca Bagatourian and directed by Che Walker, with movement by Maureen Fleming.

Wave Hill is proud to announce a collaboration with On Site Opera (OSO) to present Benjamin Britten's operatic ghost story, The Turn of the Screw, October 25-27, 2019. This immersive production will take place on Wave Hill's grounds, indoors and out, with audience members following the characters to each location.

The Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra (CSO) announced today that two new staff conductors will join the CSO in September 2019. Franc?ois Lo?pez-Ferrer will be the new Assistant Conductor for the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra and May Festival, and Wilbur Lin will be the new Assistant Conductor for the Cincinnati Pops and Conductor for the Cincinnati Symphony Youth Orchestra Philharmonic. They succeed Keitaro Harada and Gene Chang, whose successful tenures are completed this season.

New York Stage and Film has announced the mentors and artists for its 201920 Filmmakers' Workshop. Mentors include Luis Castro (The Pop Culture Collaborative), writerproducer Bash Doran ("Traitors," "Boardwalk Empire"),  Jessica Goldberg ("The Path", "Parenthood"), William Goldberg (Abominable, Infinitely Polar Bear),  Rajiv Joseph (Draft Day, "Nurse Jackie"), Toni Kalem (A Slipping Down Life), Max Mayer (Adam, As Cool As I Am), Shelby Stone ("The Chi", Bessie), and Amy Robinson (After Hours, Julie & Julia).

On Site Opera (OSO) will present Benjamin Britten's operatic ghost story, The Turn of the Screw, at Wave Hill, a public garden and former estate in the Bronx, October 25-27, 2019. The immersive production will unfold in several locations around the estate, both indoors and outdoors, with audience members following the characters from place to place.

Gilbert Gottfried, the comedian's comedian, and Chip Ambrogio, Friars Club Roast writer and Garden State native, performed a sold-out standup gig at the Black Box PAC on June 27.

The Lucille Lortel Theatre Foundation today announced the next round of guests confirmed for "Live at the Lortel," their podcast focused on Off-Broadway and the arts. Each taping lasts about 60 minutes - 45 minutes of moderated conversation and 15 minutes for audience questions.
