Flint, Michigan has a new theatre company. The Flint Theatre Guild is producing a Summer Theater Festival in the Black Box Theater at the University of Michigan-Flint. The festival will consist of three productions staged practically back-to back and it opens Thursday, July 11th with the Tom Stoppard classic 'The Real Inspector Hound.'

A a new block of tickets for the new hit Broadway musical Beetlejuice will go on sale ttoday, for performances through Sunday, January 5, 2020.

On Monday, July 15, National Yiddish Theatre Folksbiene will present its annual Summer Benefit Concert, presenting Tony- and Academy Award-winning actor Joel Grey, who directed NYTF's Fiddler on the Roof in Yiddish, with a Lifetime Achievement Award for his outstanding work in film, television, and theatre.

Festival of Cinema NYC proudly presents its 3rd annual, 10-day event taking place August 2nd to August 11th. The Festival kicks off on Friday, Aug. 2nd at 7:00 p.m. with the East Coast Premiere of Camilo Vila's “5th of July” starring Jaleel White, which had its world premiere at the Cannes Film Festival in 2018. San Francisco Playhouse announced casting for the Bay Area premiere of Dance Nation, Clare Barron's award-winning play about pre-teen competitive dancers. Becca Wolff will direct the Playhouse production, with choreography by Kimberly Richards.
