Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff, stars of Disney Channel's music-driven, contemporary body swap comedy 'Freaky Friday,' performed a special live version of 'At Last It's Me,' a new, original song from the Disney Channel Original Movie, on ABC's 'Good Morning America' on Monday, August 6.

There has been a lot of news swirling around stage to screen adaptations in the past few weeks, from Lin-Manuel Miranda directing a TICK, TICK... BOOM! movie, to Diane Paulus directing NBC's HAIR LIVE!, and this Friday, the Disney Channel original movie of the FREAKY FRIDAY musical will premiere.

Disney took over Broadway in Bryant Park yesterday! Among performances were Aladdin (Telly Leung, Major Attaway, Arielle Jacobs); Frozen (Caissie Levy, Patti Murin, John Riddle, Jeremy Davis, Wendi Bergamini, Zach Hess, Nina Lafarga, Nicholas Ward); The Lion King (Tshidi Manye, Bradley Gibson, Adrienne Walker, Ben Jeffrey, Fred Berman).

The theatre district got a whole lot freakier when stars of the upcoming Disney Channel movie Freak Friday, Cozi Zuehlsdorff and Heidi Blickenstaff, came to town! The pair visited iconic NYC sights, including Sardi's Restaurant, while promoting the film. Check out photos below!

Just last night, the best of Broadway gathered at the Beacon theatre to celebrate the film's premiere and BroadwayWorld was there! Disney Theatrical Productions just celebrated its first stage-to-television collaboration with the Disney Channel in adapting its original stage musical Freaky Friday for a worldwide televised premiere on the Disney Channel on Friday, August 10th.

The coveted Jimmy Awards for Best Performance by an Actress and Best Performance by an Actor were presented to Renee Rapp, The Blumey Awards (Charlotte, NC) and Andrew Barth Feldman, The Roger Rees Awards for Excellence in Student Performance (New York, NY).

Disney's new musical adaptation of FREAKY FRIDAY will be coming to the Disney Channel this summer! The TV movie stars Broadway's Heidi Blickenstaff as one half of the mother-daughter duo at the center of the body-swapping story. She will be joined by Cozi Zuehlsdorff as the other half of the pair.

The Jimmy Awards is pleased to announce the presenters for the 10th annual awards ceremony on Monday, June 25th at 7:30PM at the Minskoff Theatre, 200 West 45th Street in Manhattan.
