Today, PBS KIDS announced a special and new episodes of DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD, beginning Monday, August 17.

'Won't you ride along with me?' Following the hugely successful 'Daniel Tiger's Neighborhood Live: King for a Day' tour that traveled to more than 50 neighborhoods in 2019, Daniel Tiger and all his friends from the beloved Emmy Award-winning PBS KIDS television series are hopping back aboard Trolley for DANIEL TIGER'S NEIGHBORHOOD LIVE: NEIGHBOR DAY coming to Bellco Theatre Saturday, March 14th for 2 shows - 2pm and 5:30pm

Pittsburgh Festival Opera has released the details of its 2020 schedule. Productions this season include classic opera, one world premiere, one Pennsylvania premiere and the conclusion of Pittsburgh's Ring Cycle with scenes from Siegfried and Twilight of the Gods in concert. The Festival also presents a wider breadth of programming in different venues to include lectures, a poetry reading, two concerts by its Young Artists Program and festival favorite Daphne Alderson. The Festival runs from July 11 until July 26, 2020.

PBS KIDS today announced DONKEY HODIE, a new social-emotional series for children ages 3-5 created by Fred Rogers Productions and Spiffy Pictures. DONKEY HODIEis slated to premiere nationwide on PBS stations, the PBS KIDS 24/7 channel and PBS KIDS digital platforms in winter 2021.

On Sunday, December 29th, Michael Moricz released a new song for the New Year's holiday that he has dedicated to the memory of the late Fred Rogers, much-loved host of MISTER ROGERS NEIGHBORHOOD on PBS. Moricz was music director for the final five years (1996-2001) of the PBS children's series.

Tom Hanks is taking on the role of a man beloved by generations, Mister Rogers, in the new movie “A Beautiful Day in the Neighborhood,” out today. The award-winning actor spoke with 'CBS This Morning' co-host Gayle King about the challenges of playing Fred Rogers.

CNN Films, HBO Max, and Focus Features are partnering for a documentary film about the uncommon life of the late storyteller, explorer, and chef, Anthony Bourdain, to be directed and produced by Academy Award-winning director Morgan Neville (20 Feet from Stardom). Focus Features will first release the documentary exclusively in theaters worldwide before the film premieres on television on CNN and streams via HBO Max. CNN Films and HBO Max will executive produce the film. Neville's Tremolo Productions will produce the film.
