THE HEROIN DIARIES, an award-winning hour-long drama written by Milton Schorr, will play the Alexander Bar's Upstairs Theatre this November. The winner of the 2016 Imbewu Scribe Playwriting Competition, THE HEROIN DIARIES is directed by Fred Abrahamse and stars Schorr himself, along with Melissa Haiden.

Local Theater Company, under the artistic leadership of Pesha Rudnick, kicks off its fifth season of presenting new works in Boulder, Colorado, with the world premiere of The Firestorm by Meridith Friedman. Set during a heated political season, the production begins previews at the new Dairy Arts Center today, October 13. Opening night is set for Sunday, October 16. The show runs through Sunday, November 13.

HERE launches its 2016-2017 producing season with Ship of Fools, conceived by Jessica Scott, and devised by Jessica Scott with Anonymous Ensemble. Brooklyn based award-winning Loading Dock Theatre presents THE DUDLEYS! A FAMILY GAME by Leegrid Stevens. Directed by Jacob Titus, the NYC premiere this fall at HERE features original chiptune music, projection design by Reid Farrington, and life size 8-bit video animation.

?Whether working the court or navigating life itself, former pro basketball player Terri Mateer has taken plenty of hits - but that hasn't diminished her drive to score. "A Kind Shot", the one-woman show she's created out of her experiences, will be performed by Ms. Mateer herself July 22-24 at Bridge Street Theatre's intimate Speakeasy in Catskill.
