Manhattan Theatre Club presented the world premiere of The Perplexed, written by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, The Assembled Parties). The Perplexed is directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow (The Cake, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife).

MTC will soon present the world premiere of The Perplexed, written by Tony Award winner Richard Greenberg (Take Me Out, The Assembled Parties) and directed by MTC's award-winning Artistic Director Lynne Meadow (The Cake, The Assembled Parties, The Tale of the Allergist's Wife). The play will begin previews Tuesday, February 11 prior to a Tuesday, March 3 opening night at MTC at New York City Center - Stage I (131 West 55th Street).

Featuring music and lyrics by Tony Award Nominee Joe Iconis (a?oeSmash,a?? Be More Chill, The Black Suits), who also co-wrote the book with Lance Rubin (Denton Little's Deathdate), and Jason SweetTooth Williams (Be More Chill), the show is directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner (The Book of Mormon Supervising Associate Director) and stars Screen Actors Guild Award winner Annie Golden (Hair, Assassins, a?oeOrange is the New Blacka??) in the title role. The album will be produced by Joe Iconis and Charlie Rosen, and co-produced by Geoffrey Ko and Ian Kagey, with Jennifer Ashley Tepper serving as executive producer.
