Waitress is returning to Broadway for a limited engagement, September 2, 2021 - January 9, 2022, at the Ethel Barrymore Theatre (243 West 47th Street, NYC). Sara Bareilles, the Grammy Award-winning composer of Waitress, will star in the lead role of Jenna Hunterson September 2 through October 17.

FLY, the new musical adaption of J.M. Barrie's tale of Peter Pan brings a swashbuckling, gravity-defying adventure to the stage of the La Jolla Playhouse.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced the complete cast and creative team for its upcoming musical Fly, based on the J.M. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

Sugar, butter, Waitress! As Broadway's smash hit musical Waitress gets ready to close up shop at the Brooks Atkinson Theatre on Sunday January 5th, we're heading to the diner for a look back at the show's opening night! Later today, Broadway welcomes a brand new musical, JAGGED LITTLE PILL- an exhilarating new musical inspired by the themes and raw emotions laid bare in Alanis Morissette's seminal album of the same name. The show marks the return of Tony Award-winning director Diane Paulus, who brings it straight from its record-breaking, sold-out world premiere at American Repertory Theater last summer, where she has served as Artistic Director since 2008. Since then, five of Paulus' show have transferred to Broadway. Today, we're looking back at the other four!
