A world premiere based on Sir Arthur Conan Doyle's famous detective is coming to Scarborough's Stephen Joseph Theatre this month as part of a major UK tour. 

Blackeyed Theatre has announced tour dates and casting for a UK touring production, Sherlock Holmes: The Hunt for Moriarty, a world premiere by Nick Lane based on the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

Chekhov is one of the great writers of the 20th Century and these tales, adapted and directed by Eliot Giuralarocca remain as memorable and bracing as jumping into a cold plunge pool after a hot sauna!

The Hamlet Voyage: A new play by Rex Obano, long-listed for the Alfred Fagon Award, has its world premiere on board the Matthew ship at the 50th Anniversary Bristol Harbour Festival 16-17 July, followed by its London premiere at the Bridewell Theatre 20-23 July with Press Night on Friday 22 July, 7.30pm. 

Blackeyed Theatre have today announced their acclaimed production of Frankenstein, which is currently touring nationally, will be streamed on Digital Theatre's website from Wednesday 2 to Saturday 5 March to coincide with their performances at Greenwich Theatre.

Blackeyed Theatre have today announced their acclaimed production of Frankenstein will be coming back to the stage in January for a two-month tour. Adapted by Nick Lane from John Ginman's original 2016 adaptation, Frankenstein will open in Bracknell on 27 January, touring to theatres across England until 29 March.

The trial of Leonard Vole will continue at London County Hall as the run of Agatha Christie's Witness for the Prosecution is extended to 25 September 2022. The hit production returned to the historic venue in September with a brand-new cast and was met by standing ovations and critical acclaim.

Audiences were welcomed back to the iconic London County Hall last night as Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution reopened with a brand-new cast following a 78 week closure due to the pandemic. The acclaimed production opened its doors in time to celebrate what would have been Agatha Christie’s 131st birthday today, Wednesday 15 September.

Joe McNamara makes his professional stage debut as the accused, Leonard Vole. He will be joined by Emer McDaid as Romaine,  Jonathan Firth as Sir Wilfrid Robarts, Teddy Kempner as Mr Mayhew, Miles Richardson as Mr Myers and Martin Turner as Mr Justice Wainwright.   

Eleanor Lloyd Productions and Rebecca Stafford Productions have announced casting for Agatha Christie’s Witness for the Prosecution as they look forward to welcoming audiences back to the acclaimed play at London County Hall from 14 September.

Blackeyed Theatre have today announced that their highly acclaimed production of Not About Heroes by Stephen MacDonald, which the company toured and filmed in 2014, will be premiered online on Friday 25 June at 8pm (UK time).
