Casting Society of America (CSA) today announces the film nominees for the 35th Artios Awards, which honor the contribution of Casting Directors to film, television and theatre. The winners will be revealed on Thursday, January 30, 2020 in ceremonies in Los Angeles, New York City and London. Ron Funches will serve as host for the Los Angeles event, with Michelle Buteau hosting the New York ceremony.

Vineyard Theatre's Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern and Managing Director Suzanne Appel announce that the company's 2020 Gala fundraiser will celebrate Tony Award-winning producer Daryl Roth and Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel. The annual benefit Gala will take place on Monday, April 20, 2020, beginning at 6:00pm at 583 Park Avenue. Vineyard Theatre Board Member Sally Horchow will chair the event.

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce dates for Dana H. by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters. Previews will begin on February 7 at Vineyard Theatre (108 East 15th Street) with Deirdre O'Connell reprising the title role for the New York premiere direct from engagements at Center Theatre Group and The Goodman Theatre. Opening night is set for February 25.

Vineyard Theatre Artistic Directors Douglas Aibel and Sarah Stern announce the company's winter production, completing its upcoming 2019-2020 season. DANA H., by Lucas Hnath, adapted from interviews with Dana Higginbotham conducted by Steve Cosson, and directed by Les Waters, will make its New York premiere, featuring Deirdre O'Connell in the title role, in the winter of 2020 following its engagements at Center Theatre Group and Goodman Theatre. DANA H. is a co-production of Vineyard Theatre, Goodman Theatre, and Center Theatre Group.

Theatrical press rep extraordinaire Sam Rudy recently announced his retirement from the Broadway scene.
Rudy began his Broadway career as a press assistant for the 1979 play Strider. Since then, his Sam Rudy Media Relations has represented thirteen Broadway shows and many more off-Broadway productions, including Avenue Q and Hamilton.

Vineyard Theatre announces two productions of the company's upcoming 2019-2020 season. The season will kick off this fall with IS THIS A ROOM, conceived and directed by Tina Satter. The final production of the season in spring 2020 will be the world premiere of TUVALU OR, THE SADDEST SONG by Antoinette Nwandu, and directed by Danya Taymor.
