Performances of the limited engagement began Tuesday February 7.

Producer Q Theatricals announced today that after critically acclaimed and award winning productions in Seattle, New Jersey and Boston the new musical, ERNEST SHACKLETON LOVES ME, will begin performances on Friday, April 14, 2017 and officially open on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Off-Broadway's Tony Kiser Theatre (305 West 43rd Street). This strictly limited engagement will play through Sunday, June 11th only.

Manhattan Theatre Club has announced the lineup for this spring's Ted Snowdon Reading Series, formerly titled the Ernst C. Stiefel Reading Series.

Bergen County Players (BCP) continues its 84th season with Time Stands Still, Donald Margulies' riveting drama. The play is directed by veteran director Ray Yucis, with performances now through March 11, 2017 at the Little Firehouse Theatre, 298 Kinderkamack Road in Oradell.

The One-Minute Play Festival (1MPF) (Dominic D'Andrea, Producing Artistic Director & Caitlin Wees, Associate Producer) and Perseverance Theatre (Art Rotch, Executive Artistic Director, & Joshua Lowman, Anchorage General Manager) continue their dynamic partnership for The 4th Annual Alaska One-minute Play Festival with part of the proceeds to benefit The Alaska Native Voices Project, dedicated to serving and uplifting native Alaskan artists.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre, professional theatre in residence at Oakes Center in Summit, is producing Donald Margulies' comic romp Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougement (As Told by Himself). This comedy, written by a winner of the Pulitzer Prize, is receiving its New Jersey premiere.

Dreamcatcher Repertory Theatre introduces a new community Book Club, beginning with the February production of Shipwrecked! An Entertainment: The Amazing Adventures of Louis de Rougement (As Told by Himself).  For each of its three annual Main Stage shows, Dreamcatcher will offer an audience the opportunity to read the script before the show, and then participate in a talk-back experience with the actors and creative team where audience members can discuss in depth the choices that the director made in interpreting the play for the stage.   

Pulitzer Prize-winning play Dinner with Friends opens March 9 at Little Fish Theatre as the third show of the 2017 Season. Written by Guggenheim Fellowship recipient Donald Margulies, Dinner with Friends examines the complexities of a marriage and the friendships that are affected by its breakup. Directed by Mark Piatelli, this limited engagement production runs March 9 through March 26.

New Light Theater Project (Strange Country, In the Soundless Awe) will present the 25th anniversary revival of SIGHT UNSEEN, Donald Margulies' 1992 Pulitzer Prize finalist and Obie Award-winning drama. Directed by Jerry Heymann, previews began February 8 at Access Theater in Tribeca, with on February 11.

The lineup for South Coast Repertory's 20th Pacific Playwrights Festival (PPF), April 21-23, includes works from playwrights Amy Freed, Lucas Hnath, Donald Margulies and Lauren Yee. Acclaimed Off-Broadway theater company Playwrights Horizons will hold its annual Spring Gala on Monday evening, May 8 at the event space 583 Park Avenue.
