Big things are happening for Rick Monroe and The Hitmen as the band excitedly announces they will be joining rock legend Ted Nugent for sixteen dates on his “Detroit Muscle' tour this summer as the Motor City Madman's support act. The tour makes stops in Pennsylvania, New York, Texas, and Nugent’s home state of Michigan.
After announcing the all-star headlining talent for the first annual BeachLife Ranch Country & Americana festival last month, the updated lineup includes Ashley McBryde, The Infamous Stringdusters, The White Buffalo, Drive-By Truckers, Maddie & Tae, Jamestown Revival, Waxahatchee, Pete Yorn, Greensky Bluegrass and more to the three-day weekend.
The three-hour primetime concert special, bringing Country Music’s Ultimate Fan Experience to a national television audience, will be hosted by Dierks Bentley and Elle King. This marks both Bentley and King’s “CMA Fest” hosting debut. Bentley takes the Nissan Stadium stage to perform Sunday, June 12.
The initial music lineup for BeachLife Ranch includes The Lumineers, Daryl Hall & John Oates, Brandi Carlile, Dierks Bentley, Wilco, Lukas Nelson & Promise Of The Real, and a very special performance of Songs Of Waylon Jennings, featuring Shooter Jennings & surprise guests. Powerhouse vocal duo The War And Treaty have signed their first major record deal with Universal Music Group Nashville. The husband-and-wife team of Michael Trotter Jr. and Tanya Trotter are recording now with new music expected later this year. The news follows The War and Treaty’s recent Americana Honors nomination for “Duo/Group of the Year.'
