A new musical makes its debut in cabaret and concert at The Green Room 42.

High School Musical the Musical the Series star and Broadway veteran Kate Reinders will return to the stage on Monday, June 27 to host the 2022 Jimmy Awards. 92 student nominees will perform for a chance to win the Jimmy Award for Best Performance by an Actor and Actress.

Tony Award Nominee Caitlin Kinnunen (THE PROM, BRIDGES OF MADISON COUNTY) will star in THE LIGHT EFFECT, an original musical by Broadway star Desi Oakley. The show will be presented in concert form at Green Room 42 on Thursday, June 30, 2022, at 7:00 PM.

SEASONS: A New Musical Song-Cycle, will have its West Coast Premier on August 1st at the Hollywood Majestic in Los Angeles!

Monday, June 5, 2012 was the night 54 Below opened its iconic red door for the first time and on Sunday, June 5, 2022 (and again on June 9, 2022) they will celebrate that night, 10 years ago, by focusing on the future.

Fortitude, a performing arts program that uses dance, voice and acting training to champion strong thinkers and bold doers on stage and off, announces two week-long summer Book It Summits in New York City, July 11-15 and July 18-22. An intensive program for aspiring performers, age 14+, the summit will provide students access to world class dance teachers, voice and acting coaches, choreographers, casting directors and industry influencers to refine their training through classes and workshops, while expanding their tools to prepare, audition with confidence, and book professional jobs in the future.

Desi Oakley (CHICAGO, WICKED, WAITRESS First National Tour) has created and composed a new, original musical that will debut, in concert form, at The Green Room 42 on Thursday, June 30, at 7pm. THE LIGHT EFFECT concert will star Erika Henningsen and Christiani Pitts, with more casting to be announced in the coming weeks.
