Chicago's Cabaret Queen Denise Tomasello receives the prestigious Impresa Award from the JCCIA Joint Civic Committee of Italian Americans, honoring her accomplishments as a Chicago Italian-American woman. The five finalists of the 2023 Chicago Cabaret Professionals Emerging Artist Showcase will be performing on August 24 at 7:30pm at Epiphany Center for the Arts in Chicago. Each will perform a three-song set and a panel of judges will determine the winner, who will receive the Denise Tomasello Cabaret Scholarship to support the production of a solo cabaret show.

The annual Chicago Cabaret Professionals Gala is one of the most celebrated cabaret events of the year — and this year’s gala, scheduled for Monday, October 17, will feature over 25 local and national cabaret artists performing songs from the Great American Songbook as well as jazz, blues, and pop tunes. 

Davenport's Piano Bar & Cabaret, Chicago's premier location for enjoying music in an intimate setting, announces its roster of September performances in its Cabaret and Piano Bar. Davenport's, 1383 North Milwaukee Ave., is open Thursdays 7 - 11 p.m., Fridays and Saturdays from 7 p.m. - 12 a.m. and Sundays from 6 - 11 p.m.

After four sold-out Skokie Theatre concerts, Chicago musical favorite Russ Goeltenbodt returns to the theater for his first concert in five years - Live At 65. Marking his 65th year, Russ will musically cover his younger years growing up in Skokie, his love life and his next chapter. Russ will be backed musically by the Mark Burnell Trio and joined with special guest Carla Gordon.
