The critically-acclaimed Chain Theatre has announced the world premiere production of G.D. Kimble’s WHAT PASSES FOR COMEDY, directed by Chain Managing Director Rick Hamilton. WHAT PASSES FOR COMEDY will play a limited engagement at Chain Theatre.

CreateTheater & Prism Stage Company Announce New Works Festival 2022 Awards

CreateTheater, under the artistic direction of Off-Broadway producer-director-dramaturg Cate Cammarata in association with Prism Stage Company, today announced the 2022 New Works Festival Awards from their first new theater festival that ran from April 15th to May 15th at Theater Row (410 West 42nd Street).

FINDING MADAME CURIE To Open CreateTheater's NEW WORKS FESTIVAL

CreateTheater will be presenting 6 performances of Finding Madame Curie, a new musical by David Kurkowski, April 14-23 at Theatre Row's Theater Four, 410 W. 42nd St., NY, NY. Finding Madame Curie will be directed by Staś Kmieć (Fiddler on the Roof) and features Kerry Conte as Madame Curie.

ECHOES IN THE GARDEN, Will Have Its World Premiere From American Bard Theatre Company

AMERICAN BARD THEATER COMPANY is pleased to announce that after a covid-shutdown on Opening Night, March 13, 2020, their production of Ross G. Hewitt's ECHOES IN THE GARDEN, directed by Aimee Todoroff will have its World Premiere. THE BLACK COUNT OF MONTE CRISTO to be Presented at Theatre Row

TOLSTOY'S THE DEATH OF IVAN ILYICH Comes to Phoenix Theatre Ensemble

Phoenix Theatre Ensemble announces the American premiere of Stephen Sharkey's stage adaptation of Tolstoy's the Death of Ivan Ilyich on Tuesday, March 3rd at 7:00 pm. Preview performances will be on Saturday, February 29 at 7pm and Sunday, March 1 at 3pm.

Scenes From Childhood, a new play by Ari Brand (My Name Is Asher Lev, Fosse/Verdon, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) now playing at the Theater at the 14th Street Y through January 25. Set against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis in New York City, Scenes from Childhood tells the story of a young actor who pieces together the life and death of his father, a concert pianist. Spanning both the 1980's and present-day New York, this theatrical memoir asks: Who gets to tell your story?

A LETTER TO HARVEY MILK to Play Final Performance June 30th
