The 24 Hour Plays announced today that they will launch The 24 Hour Plays: Live Podcast! The first two of six episodes planned for 2020 will be recorded in front of a live audience at The Greene Space on Monday, March 16th at 8:00 PM.

March Dance Is Back In 2020

March Dance, Sydney's month-long contemporary dance festival is back in 2020 for it's second consecutive year, from Sunday 1 to Tuesday 31 March. 189 artists will engage in 114 events across 26 venues over 31 days, incorporating everything from new dance works to workshops, dance classes, residencies, showings, forums, panel talks and cinema screenings.

National Geographic, with Fox 21 Studios and Imagine Television Studios, announced today that Grammy Award-winning and Academy Award-nominated musician Raphael Saadiq has been tapped to serve as executive music producer on GENIUS: ARETHA. Saadiq is responsible for producing, arranging and recording all of the original song elements within the series featuring live performances. The score will be written and produced by multi-Grammy Award-winner and Academy Award nominee Terence Blanchard ('Harriet,' 'BlacKkKlansman').

Daniel Kitson Returns to St. Ann's Warehouse with American Premiere of KEEP

St. Ann's Warehouse continues its 40th Anniversary Season December 4-19 with the American Premiere of Keep, the latest solo work by the a?oeconsistently and enthrallingly surprisinga?? a?oemonologuist extraordinairea?? Daniel Kitson (Ben Brantley, The New York Times). The British storyteller and comedian has a rich, decade-long shared history with St. Ann's, which has presented four beloved Kitson works, including The Interminable Suicide of Gregory Church (2011), It's Always Right Now, Until It's Later (2012), Analog.Ue (2013), and Mouse: The Persistence of an Unlikely Thought (2016). Stand Up Comedy Comes To Teatro Paraguas, November 9th

Comedian Doug Mellard is returning to Santa Fe fresh off his performances at Santa Fe's own first annual Cloudtop Comedy Festival to perform at Teatro Paraguas on Saturday, November 7th at 7:30 PM with two special guests: Ramin Nazer - a comedian/artist based in Los Angeles. Ramin is the author of 'After You Die', 'I Love Everyone', 'Strippy Comics', 'Hey', and 'Cave Paintings for Future People.'

THE 24 PLAYS Celebrates 24 Years When THE 24 HOUR MUSICALS Returns on June 17

In 1995, a group of writers, directors and actors gathered on Manhattan's Lower East Side for what was supposed to be a one-time only event: write, direct, produce and perform new plays within the span of 24 hours. Twenty-four years later, The 24 Hour Plays and The 24 Hour Musicals are regularly performed around the world, touching everyone from celebrities to student artists and raising millions of dollars for charities. Today, The 24 Hour Plays announced that they'll mark their anniversary with an intimate production of The 24 Hour Musicals on Monday, June 17th at 8 PM on the Irene Diamond Stage at the Pershing Square Signature Center.
