Stage Aurora Theatrical Company, theatre that enlightens, will celebrate our military veterans and those that have served in the United States Armed forces as they partner with the Queens Public Library and present Tim O'Brien's Pulitzer Prize finalist  The Things They Carried along with other programing. This presentation is made possible by a Big Read Grant from the National Endowment for the Arts. The celebration will begin October 3-November 14, 2020.

'Beware.Brother.Beware' Five Guys Named Moe is in Jacksonville! The Tony Nominated show based on music by Louis Jordan follows Nomax, played by Jereme Raickett, who has stumbled upon hard times. Suddenly, five guys named Moe appear to show him the error of his ways. The live music, the talent, the humor made this show such a great experience, not to mention the numerous moments of interaction between the actors and the audience.

The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) has announced eleven awards granted from their National Fund for New Musicals, a major funding program to support NAMT member not-for-profit theatres in their collaborations with writers to create, develop and produce new musicals. Now in its eighth year, the Fund will provide grants totaling $43,000 to twelve organizations across the country.
