Building on the immense success of its Summer Theater Festivals in New York City, Atlanta, and Los Angeles, SheDFW will bring the organization's mission and vision to the Dallas-Fort Worth area.
SheNYC Arts, an organization devoted to producing plays, musicals, and adaptations by writers of marginalized genders and who produces summer theater festivals of work by women/trans writers in NYC, LA, and Atlanta, will be producing an off-Broadway run of two shows by Festival alumni writers.
She NYC Arts is showcasing the original work of teen women playwrights and producers during the organization's fourth annual Summer Theater Festival. This is part of the CreateHer education program, in its inaugural year, which teaches high school students how to create their own theatrical works in a professional setting. The presentation will be held on Sunday, June 30th at 12pm at the Connelly Theater with staged readings of three new short plays.
