The Writers Guild of America, East (WGAE) and the Writers Guild of America West (WGAW) tonight announced the winners of the 2019 Writers Guild Awards for outstanding achievement in writing for film, television, new media, videogames, news, radio/audio, promotional, and graphic animation categories at concurrent ceremonies at the Edison Ballroom in New York City and The Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the initial group of talent who will be participating in PaleyFest LA 2019, which takes place March 15-24, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. The Television Academy tonight presented the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday night honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievement in television at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Saturday ceremony, which kicked-off the 70th Emmys, awarded many talented artists and craftspeople in the categories of animation, scripted programming including comedy, drama and limited series. The Sunday ceremony honored performers, artists and craftspeople for excellence in variety, nonfiction or reality programming, reality competition programming, music, choreography, as well as documentary or nonfiction specials, informational series or specials.

Jane Lynch To Return For Second Season Of THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL

According to The Hollywood Reporter, star of stage and screen Zachary Levi is set to join Amazon's hit series THE MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL. He is cast in the recurring role of an eccentric doctor. According to TV Guide, Amazon comedy-drama series The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel has been renewed for season three, before season two has been released.

The Paley Center for Media announced today the latest selections for its PaleyLive Spring 2018 season: Amazon's The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel and The Unseen Robert F. Kennedy. Both programs will take place at the Paley Center's New York location.

The 2018 Producers Guild Awards were announced on Saturday, January 20, in Beverly Hills. The Shape of Water took the prize for best feature. The Handmaid's Tale, The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel, and Black Mirror took the top TV prizes.
