The circle of life continues on Broadway! Tonight, Tuesday, September 14, Broadway gets its razzle dazzle back when four beloved musicals return to the stage. Tune in to BroadwayWorld for this one short day of non-stop coverage!

The Broadway blockbuster WICKED will resume performances on Tuesday, September 14 at 7PM at Broadway’s Gershwin Theatre (222 West 51st Street). 

A first-ever video of the title song from the new musical Swept Away, featuring Grammy Award nominated folk rock band The Avett Brothers ('America's biggest roots band,' Rolling Stone), in their theater debut, has just been released.

Atlanta band Lunar Vacation have self-released just two EPs while still in college and have already sold out venues in Atlanta, Los Angeles, Austin and New York. Today, they released their latest single “Unlucky” which premiered via The FADER. The track is available to stream now. Listen below.

Berkeley Repertory Theatre announced today the full cast for the upcoming world premiere musical, Swept Away.

In 1985, lifetime Franklin resident Raye Lynn Mercer, director, pianist, and educator, departed from her private studio of 35 piano students with a vision, and opened the doors of the Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) at 38 Main Street in Franklin. Offering the region a one-of-a-kind performing arts education program that includes music, dance, and drama under one roof, FSPA Celebrates its 35th Anniversary Season this year.
