Pasadena Playhouse, the State Theater of California, announces the latest news on its spring and summer programming. Academy and Tony Award Nominee John C. Reilly and an amazing ensemble of actors will create a spirited evening of Story Theater in Gather: Surprising Stories & Other Mischief, which Reilly has created with Patrick Murphy, who will also direct. The production will play Friday, May 24 through Saturday, June 22, in the Carrie Hamilton Theatre of the Pasadena Playhouse.

CBS announced today that the fourth season of comedy series LIFE IN PIECES will premiere with two original episodes, Thursday, April 18 (8:30-9:00 and 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT) on the CBS Television Network. On April 25, LIFE IN PIECES will begin airing in its regular time period on Thursdays at 9:30-10:00 PM, ET/PT. Gravitas Ventures announces today that they have acquired worldwide rights to the horror-thriller 14 CAMERAS, directed by Scott Hussion and Seth Fuller. Written by Victor Zarcoff, the film is the highly-anticipated sequel to the critically-acclaimed horror title 13 CAMERAS (New York Times Critic's Pick), released by Gravitas Ventures in 2015. The film will be released in theaters and on demand nationwide on July 27th.

The 49th Annual Nashville Film Festival continues its announcement of incredible star-power participation with acclaimed actor and director Colin Hanks confirmed to attend a special screening of his acclaimed 2015 Tower Records documentary All Things Must Pass followed by an intimate Q&A. This marks the Nashville premiere of the documentary which explores the rise and fall of Tower Records and its legacy forged by its founder Russ Solomon and its place in the music industry. The special screening will take place at on Thursday, May 17 (7 pm) at Regal Hollywood 27, tickets will be available for individual purchase to NashFilm members on Monday, April 16 and to the public on Wednesday, April 18. Kent Alterman, President of Comedy Central announced today that the Emmy® Award-winning Comedy Central series, Drunk History, has been renewed for a sixth season with sixteen episodes. Created for television by Derek Waters and Jeremy Konner, Drunk History is produced by Central Productions and executive produced by Waters and Konner, along with Gary Sanchez Productions' Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Owen Burke. Ian Friedman and Daniel Wolfberg are the Executives in Charge of Production for Comedy Central. The fifth season currently airs on Tuesdays at 10:00 p.m. ET/PT.

Gravitas Ventures has partnered to acquire U.S. and Canadian rights to ALMOST FRIENDS, a romantic comedy from writer-director Jake Goldberger (LIFE OF A KING). ABC's THE GOOD DOCTOR star Freddie Highmore toplines an all-star cast and the film will have a day-and-date release on November 17.
