ZACH Theatre Announces 2019-20 Season

ZACH Theatre, Central Texas' premier professional theatre, announces six Mainstage productions along with the Family Series and holiday add-ons as part of the 2019-20 season. The Mainstage Season includes: Steven Dietz's new work Dracula: Mina's Quest, a 21st century look at the Bram Stoker classic; A Night with Janis Joplin returns celebrating the legendary rock goddess; Every Brilliant Thing, Duncan Macmillan and Jonny Donahoe's touching and charming play; the timely and probing new work Roe by Lisa Loomer; the new immersive musical Reunion '85; and the quintessential family musical, Rodgers and Hammerstein's, The Sound of Music.
Immersive REUNION Concerts Set to Begin in Denver

Creative Endeavor Office announced today that the immersive concert experiences Reunion '69 and Reunion '85 begin performances on Thursday, July 26 at 7.30pm at the Elizabeth Eriksen Byron Theatre at the Robert and Judi Newman Center for the Performing Arts (2344 East Iliff Avenue).

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, which played a successful two-week run in Miami in 2014, returns to the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County for a limited engagement November 28 - December 3, 2017. Single tickets will go on sale Friday, August 18 at 10 AM.

When you think of SOUTH PARK and its no-holds-barred, foul-mouthed humor, you don't tend to think of stories of faith and hope. But, when writers Trey Parker and Matt Stone (along with Robert Lopez of AVENUE Q and FROZEN fame) got together to write a musical based on The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (better known as Mormons), that's exactly what resulted. THE BOOK OF MORMON is a satirical masterpiece - and it has become a Broadway sensation.

You gotta admit: A lot has changed in this world since Nashville audiences were first treated to The Book of Mormon two years ago. The extended run in 2014 at Tennessee Performing Arts Center set records for ticket sales, garnered great critical acclaim and knocked the socks off the thousands of people witnessing the bold, brash and irreverent musical for the very first time.
