The sold out run of acclaimed director Jillian Keiley’s new production of Irene Sankoff and David Hein’s Come From Away, officially opens tomorrow night at the Joseph R. Broadway in Portland has announced the return of the national tour of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town in Newfoundland that welcomed the world on September 11, 2001.

The American Theatre Guild will present the must-see engagement of COME FROM AWAY, a Broadway musical about the true story of the small town that welcomed the world. This production is part of the BROADWAY IN EUGENE SERIES and will take the Hult Center stage for eight performances April 25–30, 2023.

Original Broadway cast members Petrina Bromley, who will play Beverley & Others and Astrid Van Wieren who will play Diane & Others. Bromley and Wieren played each other's roles in the original production of the musical.

What did     These 12 actors have created the most perfect professional ensemble show I have ever seen. There was no stand out star of this show, there were no pro or antagonists. There was only circumstances and stories. Often reviewers say things like, “This is not a show to be missed!’ “Catch it while you can!” and other such things, so I won’t. But I will tell you that you will be missing out on some of the best theater I have seen. So, get your tickets, it’s only “90 minutes without an intermission” and worth every second. This is a show I personally hope to see again and again.

This production is part of the BROADWAY IN SOUTH BEND SERIES and will take the Morris Performing Arts Center stage November 29–December 4, 2022.

Go inside Come From Away: The Concert Steele Community Centre in Gander and September 19-21 at the Mary Brown's Centre in St. John's, which brought home the musical about the small Canadian town that temporarily doubled in population in the aftermath of the September 11, 2001 terrorist attacks and tells the real-life stories of the people from there, and those who came from away. 

A dynamic group of performers from several ‘Come From Away’ companies around the world will assemble for this special presentation.
