Picking a musical to see at the Fringe is always tricky, especially with brand new shows, and lack of name recognition must be something of a liability here, but it also helps to make Between Empires the immensely enjoyable surprise it is.

BETWEEN EMPIRES, a new British musical with book and lyrics by Morgan Mackintosh and Orlando Simon and music by Michail Palaiologou, receives its world premiere at this year's Edinburgh Festival Fringe, performing in Symposium Hall beginning today, 12 August through 24 August.

Aria Entertainment in association with Goldstone has announced the launch of the new show Divas Through the Decades which will launch at London's Ashcroft Theatre on 18th October 2013. Leicester Curve's acclaimed production of Rodgers and Hammerstein's smash-hit musical, THE KING AND I comes to Birmingham Hippodrome from today 1 May through Sat 5 May 2012. Ramon Tikaram will play the role of 'The King' and Josefina Gabrielle will play the role of 'Anna' alongside two teams of 32 local children.
