The 28th annual Elton John AIDS Foundation Academy Awards® Viewing Party with Netflix's Queer Eye Fab Five: Bobby Berk, Tan France, Karamo, Antoni Porowski and Jonathan Van Ness raised over $6.4 million for the global effort to end AIDS. The gala, which took place on Sunday, February 9 at West Hollywood Park in Los Angeles was generously supported by Presenting Sponsors IMDb, Walmart and Neuro Drinks and the Event  Hosts Heidi Klum, Diane Lane, Eric McCormack and Billy Porter.

NBCUniversal has announced a robust slate of new show panels, celebrity appearances and interactive activations at Peacock Live!, its first-ever two-day fan festival taking place March 28-29, 2020 on the legendary Universal Studios backlot.

“Carpool Karaoke: The Series” will return for another season starting Friday, January 24. A new episode will debut each week for free on the Apple TV app, which is available on iPhone, iPad, Apple TV, iPod touch, Mac, select Samsung smart TVs, Amazon Fire TV and Roku devices.

The Historic Stanley Hotel and Comedy Works Entertainment has announced two shows with Paul Reiser on February 29th at The Stanley Hotel Concert Hall in Estes Park at 6:00pm and 8:30pm. Special room offers are also available with the purchase of a comedy ticket. Tickets go on sale Friday, January 24th at 10am at www.stanleylive.com. General admission tickets are $39.50. A limited amount of VIP tickets will be available which include a post-show meet and greet and photo opportunity with the artist for $75.00.

Broadway legend Bernadette Peters was honored with the Craig Zadan Theatre for Life Award by the Educational Theatre Foundation (ETF) at the annual star-studded Thespians Go Hollywood Gala held on Monday, November 18, at The Avalon in Hollywood, California. Over 300 people were on hand to help raise more than $180,000 that will support ETF's national theatre education programs for schools in need.

Following another winning fall, the network heads into the new year with a crop of prestige shows that combine top talent with creative storytelling. With more new shows launching in 2020 than the fall, NBC's robust winter and spring slate fuels a long-term strategy and features a completely reimagined “Little Big Shots” as well as three new dramas and one new multi-camera comedy. 

On January 7, NBC audiences will get a sneak peek at the premiere episode of new high-concept drama Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist. The series premiere will be available to stream on the NBC App and Hulu following its on-air premiere preview.

Deadline reports that 'Orange Is the New Black''s Jackie Cruz will star on Good Girls in a recurring role in the upcoming third season.

Variety reports that NBC has ordered three additional episodes for the third season of 'Good Girls.' There will now be sixteen episodes in the upcoming season.

Buckhead Film Group and Reel One Entertainment Worldwide announced today that Vertical Entertainment has acquired the North American rights for Robert Eagar's faith-based sports drama, FULL COUNT. The film is slated for a U.S. theatrical and VOD release on Friday, October 25, 2019.

On Wednesday evening, the biggest names in sports and entertainment descended on the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles to celebrate the year's best moments in sports at The 2019 ESPYS Presented by Capital One. The show was hosted by comedian Tracy Morgan and aired live on ABC.  Morgan's opening monologue kicked off the night on a high note – the diehard sports fan brought the laughs while discussing his recent sports car dust up and ribbed former New York Giant Odell Beckham Jr. on his departure for the Cleveland Browns.

 Today, the the Alliance for Women in Media Foundation (AWMF) announced that Superstore's Lauren Ash will host the 44th Annual Gracie Awards on May 21 at the Four Seasons Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles. Joining her on stage for a special night of performances is nine-time Grammy award-winner Sheryl Crow.
