Symphony Space has announced that, for its fall 2023 music residency, which gives artists the opportunity to showcase new work and nurture emerging talent, the institution has joined forces with Black Opry, the rapidly growing organization created to provide a home for Black artists in country, Americana, blues, and folk music.

The sold-out tapings included special performances by artists making their first appearance, and many who have become regulars in the show’s forty year history. Returning guests Steve Earle, Jason Isbell, Sam Bush, Elizabeth Cook, Sarah Lee Guthrie, Chris Pierce, and more.

Due to demand, Neil Young has added shows to his “Coastal Tour” of the west coast. It now includes a second show at The Greek Theatre in Los Angeles on July 10 and a date in Lake Tahoe at the Outdoor Arena at Harvey’s on July 24. Special guest on all dates will be Chris Pierce. The Music Hall Lounge's latest show announcements for the newly renovated venue features comedy, literary conversations, and the return of several regional favorite musicians.

The Music Hall announced another round of shows coming to their newly renovated venue, The Music Hall Lounge. Continuing the grand opening celebration weekend, stand up comedian and actor Michael Ian Black will perform two shows; other opening weekend shows include a sold out concert by Darlingside and two sets with comedian Pat McGann. The latest Lounge schedule runs through October, with more rounds of announcements scheduled throughout May and into June.

Touchy Feely was recorded in the Summer of 2021, after nearly a year and a half of virtual songwriting and collaboration during the global pandemic, and was produced by acclaimed songwriter and producer Matthew E. Taylor, best known as the lead singer of classic soul and rock 'n' roll band Vintage Trouble, will light up the stage at Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts in Beverly Hills for this official album release concert along with special guests Matthew Morrison, Tracie Thoms, Brenna Whitaker and Chris Pierce. Directed by Anderson Davis, the evening will kick off with a Jazz showcase from exceptional artists including Spencer Day, Olivia Kuper Harris, Myles Nuzzi and Dylan Meek and will be followed by Taylor's collection of modernistic tracks inspired by mid-century jazz standards.
