Zephyr will bring a free-wheeling theatrical circus experience to the New Victory Theater from March 24 through April 16. Returning to delight New Victory audiences for the fifth time, Cirque Mechanics' innovative ensemble of aerialists, jugglers, and gymnasts will showcase the relationship between humankind and the machines they create in a dizzying, human-powered spectacle. 

For thousands of years, humanity has harnessed the power of wind to achieve incredible things. Now, through a story told with their mechanical apparatuses and acrobatic acts, Cirque Mechanics explores what happens when people harness the power of wind, laying bare the mechanics that converts a natural force into such incredible power.

High-flying acrobatic troupe Cirque Mechanics brings their mechanical-inspired show Birdhouse Factory to the Smothers stage at Pepperdine University in Malibu on Wednesday, October 27, 2021 at 7:30 p.m.

Set in a 1930’s widget factory, their show explores the work and workers within it. The artists of Cirque Mechanics find marvels in the mechanical age, which informs the aesthetic of the company. In this show, they offer a glimpse into traditional labor even as the workers find themselves performing circus acts to complete their tasks.

Ready for a live entertainment experience for the whole family? Pedal Punk Drive-N-Dine Circus, a live theatrical circus spectacle and gourmet dining under the Las Vegas sky, will be held at Bear’s Best Las Vegas with four shows April 15-17.

As usual, the family-focused New Victory Theater was packed with kids the afternoon this reviewer took in the charms and delights of Cirque Mechanics' 42FT-A MENAGERIE OF MECHANICAL MARVELS, but you won't need the little ones around to have a great time at their display of strength, acrobatics and humor that's small in size but big on personality.

The ever-inventive Cirque Mechanics present Pedal Punk, a Steampunk inspired acrobatic whirlwind performance, coming to the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Friday, April 22nd at 8:00pm.

The Grand 1894 Opera House presents Cirque Mechanics in PEDAL PUNK, Sunday, April 3,  at 4 pm.
