Amanda Seyfried stopped by THE TONIGHT SHOW STARRING JIMMY FALLON last night to talk about her performance in the new miniseries drama, The Dropout, which is now available to watch on Hulu.

The film follows a children's book writer, played by Seyfried, who is forced to confront a dark secret that has haunted her throughout her life. As she gives birth to her second child, the secret is brought back into her life, along with a new battle to survive. 

The Tony Award-winner will play Conrad “Co” Roy II, the father of Colton Ryan's character. The series is inspired by the true story of her controversial “texting suicide” case, based off of an Esquire article by Jesse Barron.

Independent producer Adam Kern will present a reading of Ken Kaissar's Play The Victims Or: What do you want me to do about it?, which will have a virtual reading on Thursday June 24th 2021 at 8:00 PM EST on Zoom.

CBS All Access announced today cast members joining its upcoming original series $1, a mystery set in a small rust belt town in post-recession America, where a one-dollar bill changing hands connects a group of characters involved in a shocking multiple murder. The cast includes John Carroll Lynch, Nathaniel Martello-White, Philip Ettinger, Chris Denham, Kirrilee Berger and Gracie Lawrence with Leslie Odom Jr., Jeff Perry and Sturgill Simpson set to recur.
