The Kings Theatre Portsmouth is delighted to announce that its in-house team will be producing Titanic the Musical in 2022, showcasing the best local talent Portsmouth has to offer, with audition registration now open.

The critically acclaimed, landmark Chichester Festival Theatre production of RODGERS & HAMMERSTEIN'S SOUTH PACIFIC will open at Manchester Opera House on 16 July 2022 ahead of a season at Sadler's Wells, London from 27 July to 28 August 2022 (with a press night on 4 August 2022), before embarking on a UK and Ireland Tour.

Gang of Youths today announce their eagerly anticipated album angel in realtime. The band is also excited to announce an extensive North American tour that will see them playing Brooklyn, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Boston and more. Gang of Youths are: Dave Le’aupepe, Max Dunn, Jung Kim, Donnie Borzestowski and Tom Hobden.

When Johnnie & Friends can't find a last-minute replacement to play Santa Claus in their annual holiday show, it seems like their brand-new production is sunk. So, when the kindly doorman at The Triad agrees to step in and play St. Nick, Johnnie hires him on the spot. There's only one problem: this new friend seems to think he actually is Father Christmas and Johnnie stopped believing in Santa decades ago.

Vintage Theatre Productions presents Rodgers & Hammerstein's  “Cinderella” November 26, 2021 – January 9, 2022. Performances are Fridays and Saturdays at 7:30 p.m.; Saturdays (beginning Dec.11) and Sundays at 2:30 p.m. and Thursday, December 23 and January 6 at 7:30 p.m.

Chart-topping British Tenor Jonathan Antoine performs music from his new holiday release Christmasland and more spanning a range from pop to classical at Mayo Performing Arts Center on Wednesday, December 1.

Bryce Davis and Cilliers opened their recital program with Richard Strauss' and John Henry Mackay's uplifting 'Heimliche Aufforderung' ('The Secret Invitation'). This joyous, celebratory composition was the composer's gift to his bride on their wedding day. Bryce-Davis sang it with exquisite vocal colors. Next was Robert Schumann 'Die Lotosblume' ('The Lotus Flower') in which the poet Heinrich Heine described the beauty of the love between the flower and the moon. Bryce-Davis showed the lyric tones of her voice as she told of this delicate love.

Reprising their roles from the 2019-2020 season are Danielle Wade as Cady Heron, Megan Masako Haley as Gretchen Wieners, Jonalyn Saxer as Karen Smith, Mary Kate Morrissey as Janis Sarkisian, Eric Huffman as Damian Hubbard, Adante Carter as Aaron Samuels, Kabir Bery as Kevin G. and Lawrence E. Street as Mr. Duvall.

Last night the band brought their infectious energy of “Silk Chiffon” to Late Night Television for the first time where they were joined by Bridgers to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden. MUNA are also announcing a run of headlining dates in early 2022 which compliment their already announced tour with Kacey Musgraves.

In 1977, stars from Broadway shows gathered onboard a New York City subway car to take what would become an iconic photo, appearing with the tag line “The Only Sure Way to Make It to Broadway.” Forty-four years later, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Broadway advertising agency RPM collaborated to re-create this photo.

The Broadway League announced today that the owners and operators of all 41 Broadway theatres in New York City will continue to require vaccinations for audience members, as well as performers, backstage crew, and theatre staff, for all performances through February 28, 2022.

The Tony Awards and Carnegie Mellon University today announced the Excellence in Theatre Education Award will return to the Tony Awards next year. The Excellence in Theatre Education Award was co-founded by The Tony Awards and CMU in 2014 to recognize extraordinary K-12 arts and theatre educators.

Snail Mail (Lindsey Jordan) made her late-night television debut on Friday with an appearance on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert.  She performed “Valentine,” the title track off her critically acclaimed new album which was released via Matador on the same day.
