When Johnnie & Friends can't find a last-minute replacement to play Santa Claus in their annual holiday show, it seems like their brand-new production is sunk. So, when the kindly doorman at The Triad agrees to step in and play St. Nick, Johnnie hires him on the spot. There's only one problem: this new friend seems to think he actually is Father Christmas and Johnnie stopped believing in Santa decades ago.

Bryce Davis and Cilliers opened their recital program with Richard Strauss' and John Henry Mackay's uplifting 'Heimliche Aufforderung' ('The Secret Invitation'). This joyous, celebratory composition was the composer's gift to his bride on their wedding day. Bryce-Davis sang it with exquisite vocal colors. Next was Robert Schumann 'Die Lotosblume' ('The Lotus Flower') in which the poet Heinrich Heine described the beauty of the love between the flower and the moon. Bryce-Davis showed the lyric tones of her voice as she told of this delicate love.

Last night the band brought their infectious energy of “Silk Chiffon” to Late Night Television for the first time where they were joined by Bridgers to perform on The Late Late Show with James Corden. MUNA are also announcing a run of headlining dates in early 2022 which compliment their already announced tour with Kacey Musgraves.

In 1977, stars from Broadway shows gathered onboard a New York City subway car to take what would become an iconic photo, appearing with the tag line “The Only Sure Way to Make It to Broadway.” Forty-four years later, the Metropolitan Transportation Authority (MTA) and Broadway advertising agency RPM collaborated to re-create this photo.
